Tibble Fork Reservoir Engagement Session
Without a doubt, my favorite part of being a photographer is working with couples who aren't afraid to be themselves and showcase their love in the coolest places. Alicia and Ade made all my dreams come true with this insane session. Tibble Fork is a photographer's hot spot and is usually insanely busy in the summer and fall. It's one of the places I avoid on the weekends for that reason. Butttt I was hosting a content day that was scheduled for a Saturday and I knew I wanted lake time to be a fun element of the session. Although we decided to just hope for the best and go for it, I was worried the lake would be hopping with beach-goers enjoying one of the last weekends of summer.
When I woke up Saturday morning, it was pouring! We decided to move forward with the content day, rain or shine. When I got up to the reservoir, It was misty and drizzling but was definitely slowing down. By the time Alicia and Ade arrived, it had stopped raining just in time for us to do their classy engagement shoot. Because it had been such a rainy morning, there was literally no one else at the reservoir except for a fisherman or two. For such an insanely beautiful location, this was a DREAM.
At the end of the session, Alicia and Ade stripped down to their swimsuits and hopped in the water. What you can't tell from their insanely beautiful smiling faces is that the water was f r e e z i n g. As all of the photographers from the content day started snapping photos, it started pouring again making for the most misty and incredible photos. Sweet Alicia and Ade were such troopers and this session quickly became one of my all time favorites. The most stunning and classy engagements mixed with some lake time in the pouring rain. What else could I ask for?
