Windmill Engagement
Updated: Oct 17, 2020
Lets be honest. This shoot is arguably my favorite shoot I've done to date. It includes all my favorite elements of a rad shoot: a flat brim hat, cut off shorts, yummy golden lighting, an insane location, and d e n i m. Literally what more could I ask for?
As a photographer, I have a long list of my very favorite locations to shoot at. It's not uncommon for me to hear, "I want pictures in the mountains." Listen. I get it. I love the mountains. I've traveled around the world and Utah is still arguably one of the prettiest places I have ever been. With that being said, I love when couples choose a spot that reflects them and their personalities. We can get pretty pictures anywhere! Don't be afraid to try something new. If you want your pictures to be taken somewhere unique, let me know! I'm always down to try new things. Here's a few creative places you can plan your next session:
- Windmills. Because duh.
- An ice cream shop
- At a pottery class
- In the city
- Setting up your Christmas tree
- Making a yummy meal at home
- In N Out or McDonalds
- A coffee shop
- A carnival, fair, or theme park
- A library
- A record shop
- A gas station
- Basketball court
- Arcade
- Concert
- Ice skating
- Roller blading
- Hot springs
- Sledding
- A picnic in the mountains with donuts or pizza :)
- Swimming in a lake
- In a row boat or a canoe
- Camping in a tent or around a fire
- IKEA!
- At a car wash
- With a vintage car
- A pillow fight at home! I can bring the feathers :)
- In a greenhouse
- Longboard snuggles
- At a grocery store (ie TARGET)
- A laundromat
- A dock with sail boats
- LITERALLY ANYWHERE YOU WANT!
You deserve pictures that are so you and reflect your love in a pure and authentic way. Choosing a location that speaks to who you are as a couple is the best way to do this. If you want pictures at a location that speaks to your soul, I'm your girl!
